Bridge Program

SEEM Collaborative’s BRIDGE department, which is the in-district services arm of our Student Assessment and Intervention Center (SAIC), provides services to school staff, students, and their families.  These services are designed to assist public school districts with developing increased skills and capacity to effectively meet the growing needs of students struggling with social and emotional difficulties, to provide support to families in removing non-academic barriers to student success, and to support students directly through crisis intervention and intensive case management.  The Bridge Program provides services in various modalities in the school, home, and community settings.  The Bridge Program offers Consultation Services, Home Services, Intensive Case Management/Coordination, School-Based Assessments, and Direct Services.

Assessment and Intervention Center

The SEEM Assessment and Intervention Center (SAIC), serves as SEEM’s Extended Evaluation and Interim Alternative Educational Setting (IAES). Located at 260 Fordham Road, Wilmington,  the SAIC site provides a highly structured therapeutic milieu setting for students in grades K-12.  Students are enrolled for up to 8 weeks/40 days. While enrolled, students participate in a variety of targeted assessments unique to their presenting needs.  Assessments include initial evaluations for special education, psycho-educational evaluation, school neuropsychological assessments, and risk assessments.    The Assessment Center team evaluates psychological, social-emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning to determine special education placement needs and the services required for effective remediation, linking assessment to intervention.
